Exposition of the Sacred Relics of Lord Buddha at Nalanda College

Nalanda College, in collaboration with the Buddhist Society and the Old Boys’ Association (OBA), organised a solemn Exposition of the Sacred Relics of Lord Buddha on 22 May 2026 for the benefit of students, teachers, parents, and the wider Nalanda community.

Held at the Malalasekera Hall, the sacred event provided an opportunity for thousands of devotees to pay homage to the Sacred Relics and participate in a spiritually enriching religious observance conducted in a serene and respectful atmosphere.

The Old Boys’ Association played a significant role in the successful organisation of the event by coordinating arrangements at the venue and organising two Dansal for all those who attended the exposition.

The College wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to Mr. Charith Mallawarachchi, Deputy Organiser of the event, for generously sponsoring the two Dansal and for his dedicated contribution towards the overall arrangements, including the decoration and preparation of the Malalasekera Hall.

Nalanda College conveys its heartfelt gratitude to all individuals and organisations whose support, commitment, and participation contributed to the success of this sacred and memorable occasion.
